8ミリ映画復活祭～永遠の映画少年たち

2023年3月18日（土）から公開される『single8』（小中和哉監督）公開記念で3月2日から3日間に渡って『8ミリ映画復活祭』が開催された。

初日と2日目に参加した。雰囲気は成蹊高校映像研究会の同窓会といった感じでしょうか。

■初日（2023年3月2日）の上映プログラム（敬称略）は、

■2日目（2023年3月3日）は、

中でも『TURN POINT 10:40』の制作過程が今回の映画『single8』のストーリーになっている。今回の復活祭参加者にとっては「予習」となりました。

8ミリフィルムによる上映は、途中フィルムが切れたり、音声トラブルによる中断といったハプニングがあったが、会場はとても温かい雰囲気に包まれていたのが印象的でした。

（スプライサーで素早くフィルムを結合したり、映写機の調整などの速やかな対応も素晴らしかった。）

これだけの監督たちが集結する風景も圧巻です（写真2）。

学生時代の映画制作がそのまま大人になっても仕事となっていることは、とても素敵だ。（当然苦労されているかとは思いますが。）

『single8』の公開がとても楽しみです。更に「8ミリ映画」の再ブームも期待しています。

8mm Movie Easter Festival ~ Eternal Movie Boys

To commemorate the release of “single8” (directed by Kazuya Konaka), which will be released on Saturday, March 18, 2023, the “8mm Movie Resurrection Festival” was held for three days from March 2nd. I attended the first and second days. The atmosphere of the venue is like a class reunion of the Seikei High School Video Study Group.

■ On the second day (March 3, 2023),

Among them, the production process of “TURN POINT 10:40” is the story of the movie “single8”. For the participants of this Easter festival, it was a “preparation” for the main story.

During screenings using 8mm film, there were incidents such as the film being cut off in the middle and the screening being interrupted due to audio problems. However, it was impressive that the venue was wrapped in a very warm atmosphere.
(They were quick to respond, such as using a splicer to splice the films together quickly and adjusting the projector.)

The scenery where so many directors gather is a masterpiece (Photo 2).
It’s wonderful that the “movie production” I did when I was a student is still my job as an adult. (Of course, I’m sure you’re having a hard time.)
I’m really looking forward to the release of “single8” from now on.
Furthermore, we expect a resurgence of 8mm films.
